Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT) is a non-invasive, safe therapy during which you breath 80%-95% oxygen while under atmospheric pressure greater than 1, typically between 1.3 and 2.0 ATA (atmospheres). This is what allows the oxygen to be perfused directly into the blood plasma and distributed through the body without relying on red blood cells alone.
Our hard-shell chamber has a 100% transparent lid and both ends are completely transparent allowing sufficient light into the chamber. There is a light inside the chamber and a phone for us to communicate with you while in there. Many of our clients were initially reluctant, however found that their concerns were relieved once they tried it.
During the session you will feel as normal, you are lying down in a comfortable bed breathing oxygen either through a nasal canula, a mask or a non-rebreather (whatever is your preference). You can take a nap if you like. You may experience some intermittent pressure in your ears, similar to flying in an airplane.
It really depends on what you are trying to achieve. While mHBOT is not a 'cure' for anything, it targets the pillars of disease, thereby addressing root cause of many conditions. We will work with you to develop a protocol specific to what you are wanting to address and require support with. Protocols are based on evidence and recommendations from HBOT USA. Typically 10-20 sessions are required to achieve significant changes, so we offer packages to reduce cost.
We offer 1 hour or 1.5 hour sessions.
You can expect your initial session to take up to 90 minutes as we introduce you to the chamber, chamber safety, and what to expect.
Our packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You will be sent a reminder closer to the expiry date.
Our git vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of purchase.
